      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto un giorno. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Causeway Capital Management (Los Angeles, CA)

      Colloquio

I had the worst interview experience in my entire career so far with Causeway Capital. During the interview, the hiring manager asked me questions like "do you have kids?" I said no and he followed up by asking "do you plan to have kids?" What kind of questions are these??? What do they have to do with my ability to analyze investments??? At the time, I stayed silent because I didn't expect this kind of questions to be asked by any hiring manager from any company in the United States so I was stunned and speechless. Thinking back, I really should have said that it's none of your business and walked out of the door immediately. I really can't understand that how Causeway, a firm run by a female CEO, can discriminate females like this. Potential candidates, especially females, you are warned, avoid this firm if you can.

Causeway takes candidate feedback seriously and we are very surprised by your comments, which in no way reflect Causeway’s values or our commitment to diversity. Please be assured employees conducting interviews at Causeway focus exclusively on a candidate’s ability to perform the required responsibilities, and we have hired, and continue to hire, female candidates for open positions without any indication that inappropriate questions have been asked. Moreover, Causeway is a welcoming place with strong support from women and minorities throughout the organization, as shown by ongoing efforts appearing on our website. We take these matters seriously, and all employees engaged in the interview process are periodically reminded about interview protocol. Causeway provides equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals without regard to an individual’s protected characteristics. Decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities. As we have no way to verify this post, created anonymously, we have shared your post internally and invite you to contact our CEO, our COO, or our Director of HR – all women– to provide details so that we may appropriately investigate this matter further.
