Colloquio
The process for the interviews was great. I got a chance to interview with two of the VP's of U.S sales during the process. Through that got a great feel of the company and the excitement around the growth surrounding Checkout.com

4 rounds, 1st with recruiter, then a roleplay/experience run through with VP sales then SVP final round - last interview was more informal but a strategy for how you would target accounts.

Colloquio
First process in fall of 2023, went through 3 rounds and was dropped because I 'did not have enough experience' despite having positive interactions and diving deep into my negotiation strategies and wins.
I was contacted again this week to pickup conversations and then was dropped the very next day based on feedback from one interviewer back from fall 2023. No attempt to understand and/or challenge my industry knowledge 9 months later.
Clearly Checkout feels I am a strong candidate to continually pick up conversations. I shared multiple examples of different customer stories and my winning negotiation strategies, and whether they were good fits for my prior payments company or why not.
It’s these types of interview experiences that hinder women from seeking career growth. Other than being just shy of one of the qualifications for the role, I provided exemplary proof of my success in my previous role. I know if I had been a man interviewing, I would’ve been pushed through to hiring immediately. Just peering at those occupying the sales roles at Checkout on LinkedIn and it’s overwhelmingly dominated by men, which is very disappointing and appears sexist. Do better.
All in all, glad to be avoiding this company.
