During my interview for the Variable Hours Lecturer role at Chesterfield College, I went through a structured panel process where I was asked about my teaching experience, subject knowledge in counselling, and how I would support learners in an FE setting. I also discussed safeguarding, inclusivity, classroom management, and my approach to learner engagement, before being given the opportunity to ask questions about the role expectations and timetable.
