The interview process is long and slow at CMI. First was a phone call screener with a recruiting agency. Then there was a panel interview that was quite quick. And the final interview with the hiring manager.
I enjoyed my discussions with each person I met with, but the management of the overall process lacked. Candidates should be respected and kept up-to-date on communications, instead of not responding for weeks at a time. It was also unclear to me until the final interview how many days per week in the office was considered "hybrid". From start to finish, the whole process took three months, and there was only three rounds of interviews. CMI would disappear for a few weeks and then circle back to schedule another interview. Maybe this is due to outsourcing to a recruiting firm, but regardless I think the process at CMI can be improved for the candidates' experience.
