After submitting my application, I was asked to share a writing sample. Within a few days, I had a Zoom interview with a member of the talent team; it was, without a doubt, one of my favorite interviews I have ever had. It felt much more like a conversation than an interview. She absolutely sold the organization for me. Within two weeks, I had another Zoom interview with the philanthropy team, which was also a positive experience. Both interviews included more traditional questions about experiences and skills. I do not recall any particular curveballs questions. While I was not offered the role I applied for, I was asked about my interest in another position they had available. I very much appreciated their interest in my candidacy to consider me for an alternative opportunity. Unfortunately, I passed on proceeding with the second opportunity because it did not feel like the right fit for me. I have nothing but positive things to say and think about the organization and the individuals I met.
