Met with Nurse Manager on the floor in which I was hired, lasted about 20 minutes. Then she showed me around the floor and introduced me to a current PCNA to ask questions and "hang out" with for about 10 minutes. After you accept the position, you go through CC's training, which lasts about 3 weeks M-TH business hours (paid), a 4 hour BLS certification class (paid), and CC orientation in Beachwood for 3 days (paid). There is a urine drug and nicotine screen with an employee present, as well as blood drawn and a TB test. Then, you orient with a current PCNA full 12 hour shifts for about 5 weeks.
