A month of calls and emails. Spoke to numerous people in the organization, I was kept in the loop of the process every step. The actually interview was odd. First, when I first applied for this role they called it a Project Manager role which it wasn’t, it ended up being a grant administrator role. The interviewer asked me questions pertaining to IT programs (what does that have to do with grant administration?) and what my favorite Disney character was (also thought this was odd). Overall the process leading up to the interview was pleasant but the actual interview felt unprofessional like they were trying to give me “gotcha” questions or trick me into answering wrongly.
