I noticed the ad on Craigslist and applied immediately. I was quickly contacted by the comm. director to organize a phone call. A day or two later, we spent 50 minutes on the phone, learning more about one another, the company, the role and sharing ideas. He told me he'd love for me to come in the following week for an in person interview. During the week before the interview, I put together a 25 page document, by choice, to showcase my thoughts and ideas. I sent this over to the comm. director a few days before my interview date. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a lovely receptionist and showed the office. Once it was time for the actual interview, it lasted about 50 minutes again. I presented my document and shared additional thoughts and strategies. Towards the end of the meeting, I was told the process in which they are doing for the interviews, that I was a strong candidate, and I'd hear from them soon. I sent off a hand written thank you card and email within 72 hours of the interview. After nearly two weeks of no contact, I followed up. Still no answer. Finally, three weeks from the interview date, I received a denial of role but I asked for feedback and input for future reference. Still no acknowledgement. Hard to get any communication from this team. I also protected my ideas on this document I created.
