Had an initial first phone interview with someone in HR (30 minutes). Received an email one week later to arrange a second phone interview with the hiring manager (about 45 minutes).

Nothing difficult. Questions about my experience and specific skills and knowledge for the role.

The interview process was long. It was two months, and a total of four rounds, and included a written assignment. Besides the fact that it was a long process, I had a fairly pleasant experience until the end. I had to submit a timed exercise. I put a lot of time and effort into it. At that stage, I never heard anything again until a month later, in which I received about two short sentences saying that I had not been chosen to move to the next round. I asked for feedback, which I did not receive. It was disappointing to go so far, and put so much time into an organization, and not receive any type of feedback at all.

Applied online. A few days later, got a call from the hiring manager. After a review of my resume, they indicated that they were looking for someone with more of a technical background.
Much to my surprise, I got an email asking me to come in for an interview. I did, met with the hiring manager as well as a panel of potential team members.
Lots of behavioral "what would you do it" questions. I would have preferred a more straight-forward approach, about what they job entailed, hours, and such.
Got an email about a week later saying "I wasn't a good fit" with no other information. No surprise here, as they indicated they wanted more a technical person.
