Pretty standard questions and activities, staff were all super nice, but the intensive nature of their process followed by candidate ghosting was disrespectful and unprofessional.
First round was a one hour video call, followed by a homework assignment that took about an hour/hour and a half, and the second round was a five hour interview with four 1:1 interviews and a lunch with some staff.
Was given a general timeline for a decision, didn't receive any response from a first followup, and eventually saw that someone was hired on LinkedIn. If I received a call or email, this would be a positive review.
Had a really wonderful experience during the actual interviews, but when you're asking candidates to take essentially a full workday to interview, ghosting candidates is unprofessional and disrespectful of their time. Work is busy, but candidates' lives are busy too, and the end of the process left me feeling that Code.org doesn't care about their candidates investment in the process and generally lacked professionalism.
