I was reached out to on Handshake by a recruiter asking if I wanted to apply. I did so. A couple days later I was asked to do one of those self recorded video interviews. They allowed for unlimited re-takes and the questions were simple. I was then asked to do a phone interview a few days later. I scheduled it for the next day and called in at the exact time I was supposed to. I sat waiting on a conference line for 20 minutes without anyone calling in. The interview was supposed to take 15-20 minutes so I hung up. I emailed the only email address I had available and asked if there had been a mistake and what I should do next. No response. I emailed again and still nothing. Two months later a new recruiter reaches out and asks to do a phone interview. Wary, but still job hunting I accepted. The interview was simple and was a lot of asking about how good I was at sales and persuading people. I was told that they had no idea when I would be contacted for another phone interview because they were the junior recruiter, but I could send an email to check-in if I wanted to. After not hearing back for a little over a week I reached out to ask for an update. Again, I got no response. Absolutely unprofessional. They have zero care as to whether or not they waste your time and likely don't care if they do this to their employees too. I can only imagine how messy the inner-workings of this company must be if they can't even attend scheduled interviews.
