A few days after application, I have received a phone call for a quick assessment and to setup the formal interview. One week later at the interview, after the normal presentation, summary explanation and position description, we have played a real life scenario role between a customer and a project manager. After 3 weeks I was accepting their proposal.

It was a phone call asking me to do a pitch regarding my knowledge and experience as a Project Manager. After that, the recruiter asked about salary and benefits expectations. She said that in 1 week she would contact me if they decided to move forward with the process. After 1 week she contacted me again and was very open, transparent, and honest providing feedback the salary I was expected couldn't be fulfilled by them and asking me if I'd like to move forward or not with the process. I decided to step back and decline the job offer.
