The interview had three parts. One was talking about first order predicate calculus, translating some sentences back and forth between that representation and English. One was talking about algorithms, and how I would approach various programming situations. One was talking about the company, my questions and their profferred information about its history, goals, stability, that sort of thing. It was clear that the person who interviewed me was extremely competent, and when I stumbled a few times, they gave me hints to help me, which calmed me down and helped me do well on the rest of the interview. The most important thing to mention though is that there was no long interview process, their CEO talked with me for an hour, called my references, and that was that. It all happened by phone, and I was glad that they didn't go through the many stages, and strange interview questions, that I got at other places.
