I received a rejection email 10min after I applied. 3 days later I received invitation for interview for the position with recruiter. Next interview with hiring manager was set during the interview. But it was cancelled one hour before the interview saying they decided to hire another candidate. Also, at the time he told me to apply another position that we had discussed so he could skip the screening interview with me and could set interview with another hiring manager. I did and next day I received rejected email from another recruiter. It was such a waste of time. Also auto rejection email and application email from HR are using smile/ wink mark ;) and it is not professional. Also I was asked if I have work experience in Canada and I believe that is illegal to ask. If HR cannot follow process and cannot communicate efficiently, I wonder if SOPs are correctly followed in manufacturing plant and products might be unsafe to use.
