First there was a phone interview just asking me basic questions to verify my resume and to see if I would agree to 13.50/hour for the first part of my training. After that, then they schedule you for an in person interview at the actual site. Usually its whoever if free at that time - a coach, trainer, etc. They have a piece of paper where they have assigned questions to ask you, mostly just making sure that you'll be competent in following their tools for technical support.
They also take time to tell you the benefits of free tv subscriptions, medical insurance, and the like just to kind of get you interested in the job itself since it has such a high turnover rate. Most supervisors are discouraged from saying anything negative or say real-life stories because they try to get you through training before you realize how mentally exhausting the job actually is.

The interview was done online and lasted about 30 minutes. The recruiter was gracious, professional, and very easy to talk to. She had a lot of information to discuss, which is good as she was thorough in making sure I, as a candidate, knew what I was getting into. So, communication and honesty were emphasized, which helped me in making my decision. Most of the interview was reviewing DISH culture and policies and ensuring I understood them. She then asked approximately 3 situational questions and a few relatively personal questions to get to know more about my personality. They weren't difficult questions, but should be answered in STAR format. I believe one of them was about learning a new skill and applying it in the context of customer service. This interview was one of the better ones that I have experienced in my life, so I don't really have anything negative or critical to say.

Its been a week at least 4 the background check, but other than that, the process was easy and all the recruiters were excellent and very nice. Can't wait 2 be a part of the crew! Thx Dish!
