Unfortunately, my process ended on a sour note. I first saw their LinkedIn job posting in November 2022, applied around April 2023, and my interview process lasted from May 2023 through January 2024 (9 months). I enjoyed meeting with most of the team, and the role is described as a great opportunity. At the end, one team member played around with me for seven weeks in response to his boss asking us to meet (unresponsive; eventually offered availability only multiple weeks out; failed to confirm times; engineered multiple meeting requests; did not show up to one of those calls; cancelled one last minute because he was sick; and [my favorite] after 20 mins on the call said “my phone battery is low” and needed to reschedule). I believe he was trying to sabotage the hiring process. It was a disappointing end to a long process.
