- invited for in-person case study which lasted for 3 hours, they wanted us to do free prioritization work on actual problems they're encountering at the startup - there were 4 candidates in total all cramped in one room trying to prep for this case study, founder made an inappropriate joke that it looks like battle royale. Doesn't help that all candidates are from the same POC group, weird power dynamic - very manipulative and inexperienced founder, turned off by the whole experience and withdrew myself from the process - some advice: as much as you're interviewing candidates, we are also interviewing you :)
