I applied to DB online and they called me two days later! I went in the next day for a group interview but it ended up being only myself, so the store manager interviewed me first. She asked me questions about my experience backround and then she started talking about how DB works and what a stylist does! It went on like that for 20 minutes and then she was really impressed so she asked the AM to interview as well. She was really nice too and apparently the store manager told her she wanted to hire me right then and there. After 10 minutes she told me her and the store manager wanted to hire me on the spot! It's my dream retail job so i am so excited! I did the paperwork that day too.

They called me in for a group interview the day after I submitted an online application. The interview went well; the ladies were very outgoing and friendly. I felt very comfortable throughout the interview process. However, the base pay for stylists is ridiculously low and though I would've loved the opportunity, I can't afford to be underpaid.

Had an in person interview where we sat in a back room, very casual and friendly and talked over interview questions, pay amounts, duties and responsibilities, and overall basic information about my interviewer and also myself. It was super friendly and an easy process, and they were looking for an advocate/sister type of personality, because women looking for wedding dresses/prom dresses/etc. need a "big sister" for that.

Got there she had me observe another wedding stylist walk the store to get a feel for it. Met the other staff members. We went to the backroom to talk n discuss availability. The total process took about 45 minutes.
