      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Dickinson Wright

      Colloquio

Unfortunately, my interview experience was extremely disorganized and time consuming. I initially interviewed with a recruiter, then HR, and an office manager. I was later told the role was not available in my region. A couple of months later, I was contacted again by the recruiter multiple times about what appeared to be a new opportunity for their Las Vegas office. I was told the role also involved supporting a California attorney. I specifically asked whether California experience was required and was told it was not. I then attended what I believed was an in person interview, only to learn the attorney was on Zoom and was unaware the role required working for an attorney in CA as well. She expressed concerns about workload and scope that clearly had not been communicated internally. After raising these concerns professionally, I was met with a defensive response from HR rather than clarity. Ultimately, I was told the California attorney wanted someone with California filing experience, contradicting what I had been told earlier and rendering the in person interview unnecessary, especially since the attorney was not even there. The lack of communication between HR, recruiting, and the attorneys led to wasted time and frustration. That said, the Las Vegas partner and office manager I met were excellent and left a very positive impression. If not for the poor coordination and shifting expectations from the lady at HR that's allegedly been there for over 30 years, this could have been a great experience.

      Domanda 1

The recruiter asked if I would be interested for the salary I was looking for with five weeks vacation my first year.
