Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un'agenzia di reclutamento personale. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Diffblue (Oxford, Inghilterra) nel mese di nov 2024
Colloquio
Initially, I had a recruiter contacting me trying to find out if I would be interested in a new role. I then had an interview with the CRO, but after 7-10 days it was communicated they will proceed further with other candidates.

One question I received, which I found very unprofessional, especially coming from a CRO was: "what is the name of your current manager?"
Personal opinion: such a question should never be asked so early in the interview. Okay, if I get an offer that I am looking to accept, then yes, by all means, you can ask for my manager's name or even reach out to them for a reference. But for so early in the process, I don't want to take the risk to have my manager's profile viewed by a UK company CRO as it will be obvious for my manager what's going on.

The interview process was composed of three different stages: Stage 1: Interview with the Director of Solution Engineering about experience in such a role Stage 2: Interview with the CRO regarding the selling background and experience Stage 3: Technical Interview regarding the programming experience, languages (ideally Java) and the products sold by DiffBlue.

Domanda 1
Why did you choose to work as a Solution Engineer? Why are you leaving your current company? How do you feel about Java?
