Applied and received a quick response that I have been invited to do an online video interview. For this I had to be prepared to answer 4 questions that were not given to me beforehand and then record a video with my answers. I was given 2 mins to collect my thoughts and then hit the record button. Afterwards you are unable to redo the video or review it before it is submitted. To prepare I spent a day thinking about what potential questions could come and practices for myself. After much practice I felt like I did a good job and received an email from EF asking about my salary requirements. I politely responded that I felt I needed more information about the role (never spoke to a human at all in the process) and asked for them to provide me a range and we can speak about it from there. The recruiter never got back to me and over a month later I have still not received any information that I was not chosen. Now I see the position is no longer listed on their website. I felt totally disrespected and insulted to be ghosted by EF.... I mean you all are in the people business. Was a huge red flag for me and I will certainly never apply there again and would not trust this company to put together a program for my kids abroad if this is how they treat people. How sad.
