I was brought on to begin a new branch of business in water (they work primarily in energy, oil & gas, now aerospace engineering, infrastructure & construction) so my interview may have been quite different from yours. They wanted to know about my experience in water, what topics I felt were exciting for events, and how I had run mine at my previous company. It was a few month long process. I was approached by a recruiter, had several interviews on the phone with Laxmi, met upper management in person, and then was sent an offer. They will likely try to renegotiate and talk you down so expect that. Ask high, they can afford it and if you are worth it and knowledgable they will know.
