This was a very disappointing process, especially as someone who had worked their previously. I was contacted by a recruiter to talk about a position I had applied for, and she gave me a time and date for it. When the actual phone call came up, she didn't appear and never contacted me. I e-mailed her to follow up to reschedule. I didn't hear back for over a week, and when she replied, she said she thought she sent a message but that it didn't go through. She proceeded to ask for more times to interview. I provided them, and then she followed up by saying that the team moved forward with another candidate and that it was unfortunate timing didn't work out. The fact that no contact was made prior to the interview time was unprofessional, but the lack of empathy or responsibility on the recruiters part for causing me to lose out on a job opportunity is extremely disrespectful. And this is for someone who used to work there. I can only imagine how the recruiter would treat new people.
