All the red flags! Obviously toxic work environment… Had a hiring manager reach out to me after I applied to a remote content manager job. Interviewed twice for that role, then my offer came through for a “junior seo specialist.” Company claims to be “ten steps ahead of everyone” with their “tech,” despite evidence pointing to the contrary. Hiring manager missed interviews and ignored emails. Owner called me multiple times out of the blue one day to pressure me into new role, was extremely rude, and tried to gaslight me into another position (despite 17 years as a writer/content manager). AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Oh yeah, pay was going to be abysmally low as well haha
