I had a great interview. The interviewer was quite enthusiastic and told me the next person lined up to interview me was very impressed with my resume. I went out with the understanding that I would be having a second interview shortly. I called a week later to follow up and was told the second person had just been put on a very intense assignment but was keen to interview me. I called again two weeks later and heard something similar. After waiting a bit longer I tried calling again but my calls were not returned. I sent an email and asked if there was a problem but there was no response. Another email asking for information as to why things had so obviously fallen through was met with silence. I have no idea what happened to cause things to turn around so abruptly. I found it very unprofessional of the company to behave this way and in particular to give no reason why they suddenly stopped responding.
