Skype video interview with a case presentation (topic was provided a few days ahead). The hiring manager , an HR representative and another manager were present. I was asked to walk them through the presentation I had made. The topic was to generally address the data privacy and compliance issues. All along, I was wondering what a 'Product Owner' had to do in these areas, since there was no indication of anything remotely associated with an agile process or product development. This was basically a mid-level strategy consulting role which the hiring manager had wrongly termed "Product Owner" . Not surprising, as the hiring manager really had no clue about the subject matter and was only parroting the stuff written in the JD. Poor Etihad. :-)
