There were 5 rounds: + CV: send CV + Get to know the company and introduce myself: talking to a senior software engineer. + Coding interview: in Python on writing API calls and discussed about the application. + System design interview: design an application for car park entry. + Team interview: talked about the team and myself

The process began with a screening call from the recruiter, followed by a conversation with the hiring manager. Beyond that there are a series of technical and behavioral interviews with engineers and engineering managers. The traditional "coding challenge" was replaced by a pair programming exercise where I did the talking and the interviewer did the coding, which was a nice change of pace. Communication throughout the application process was always prompt and transparent. I had the opportunity to interview with nine employees at all levels and time was always reserved for my questions at the end of each interview. Start to finish the interview process took about two weeks and probably would've happened even faster, but for my own scheduling conflicts. Towards the end, I received a package from my recruiter with some company swag and a handwritten postcard wishing me luck on my remaining interviews. With Covid-19 making my job search feel really impersonal, this was a really nice way to personally connect and helped convince me that this company has a culture that valued future and current employees.
