      The whole interview process was very structured and consisted of many rounds with different stakeholders - who all turned out to be people that I work with on a daily basis. Feedback was shared after every round which is great for personal development and isn’t something you typically get out from an interview. Overall a great experience!

      The interview process was extremely time-consuming and demanding, especially given that this was a mid-level role. The entire process took almost 6 weeks till I got my rejection at the end of round 5. I applied for this role on LinkedIn. The first round when they reached out to me was to write a cover letter + do a mini assignment on how to re-organize a JIRA ticket. The second round was 30 mins with the talent acquisition representative to talk through my experience and she took notes and shared it with the hiring manager. The third round was with the hiring manager - this was a really good round for me. We had very good chemistry and we both felt like the role would be a great fit. The fourth round was a take home assignment, that I did twice, as the expectations were not clear the first time around. The fifth round was an interview loop for 2 hours consisting of 3 sessions in total. I asked for feedback once I heard back on the rejection. The criteria for assessing the candidate did not seem fair in relation to the job description. They should consider revising job description to include business development expectation. Given the level of investment of time, resources and effort required of the candidate, it is disappointing to hear that the feedback was actually something they could have groomed the candidate to be better at while taking on the job, and it is actually not critically relevant to a project management role. I would not want to work for an employer that seems to be really critical on minor aspects that I would not consider critical to the carrying out the role itself so it does seem to be a mismatch in terms of expectations for the role and working culture.
