I was contacted via email and was asked to do a phone interview. Afterwards, I was scheduled for an in person interview. One of the interviewers was very personable and friendly while the other was very short and refused to give eye contact. Afterwards, they told me to move forward with filling out a background check and doing assessments which in total took me about 5 hours to complete. They stated that they would get in touch with me either way. After emailing my information and assessments they did not confirm receiving my email and after two weeks I needed to be the one to reach out and follow-up. Two days later I received an email stating that another candidate was chosen. I felt that due to putting so much time and effort into the assessment I should have been given the courtesy of having them confirm my email was received and being the ones to let me know that they went another direction. Seemed unprofessional to me.
