In the beginning everyone was very friendly and welcoming with the process going by quickly but after the group panel interview things got stagnant. The interview process literally lasted 2 months before they went with another person and it seems they were delaying the process to interview other people and find a better candidate. Although I appreciate their diligence, I find that disrespectful to other people’s’ time and other prospects to keep everyone else waiting in limbo. Companies should either know they want the candidate or move on, but not string along candidates if they are continuing to interview others especially if those waiting are really interested in the chance. Seemed like a great opportunity at a great location, but the way the process progressed into a waiting 2 months cat and mouse game turned out to be disappointing. Really appreciate the hiring manager communicating at the midpoint of those 2 months why things were being delayed but things went quiet after that and I had to reach out multiple times on the progress after that call. Hope they can improve their hiring process because it’s a good company with good employees.
