I received a really positive and personal response to my application and was asked to interview with the cofounder. Shortly after the request, I read a previous Glassdoor interview claiming the company was "farming job candidates for free ideas." After reaching out for additional details, I thanked them for providing more info and said I had concerns regarding said Glassdoor review, but that I was proceeding with interviewing regardless. Within minutes, I got a response back that the role was magically filled and they are stopping the search for candidates. The role is still up. It was clear the previous review had truth to it. Be careful out there. 🚩
