Strange. I was being interviewed by multiple people at once. They said “this interview is more like having a conversation”. And then they all just stared at me. Obviously, they wanted me to “carry the conversation”. But this is an interview… not a social hour. Bizarre approach. I asked all of my questions and then we sat in awkward silence. I asked if they had any questions for me and they said “no”. It felt unorganized and as if they’d forgotten about the interview all together. Being stared at like an animal in a display case was so strange. I knew from the first few minutes of the interview that I didn’t want to work there.
