Made it to onsite interview and after this interview I knew I couldn’t work for GE if this hiring manager represented the culture based on his explanation of what they expect of a sourcing manager to pressure suppliers... “if you see your suppliers driving nice new cars, you know they can afford to come down on price.” He also explained that it was never within our responsibility to revisit suppliers in quality expectations after pressuring them to reduce prices. I am glad I learned this before agreeing to take the job, which I didn’t.
