I had an initial recruiter screen, a phone screen with the hiring manager, and an on-site interview with five interviewers. Overall, the process was very quick and communication was great throughout. However, during the on-site interview, I was driving the conversations with the interviewers. It was more conversational and less about focusing on my experience or fit within the company. I did not feel challenged or properly vetted. Ultimately I received an offer which came in 20% less than I was told up front during the initial recruiter screen. While I was very interested in the company, the interviewing experience paired with the low offer led me to decline the offer.
