No pre-screening, immediately given a take-home test to analyze some data. Theme and timing of data lined up with actual recent events surrounding a real game. No response other than a confirmation the submission was received. I understand the desire to have candidates work with seemingly real-world data, but the recency and timing of the dataset felt too much like doing work for free. I suggest the hiring team consider how candidates might view these things.
