Applied through job board, received impersonal email interview invite instructed to pick a time on the recruiter’s calendly app quickly because spots were first come first served, then had 30 min phone interview. Was told I would hear back my status in 1-2 days about the next round. I never did. I had to follow up a few days later when I had offers on the table at other firms to find out if I was still being considered or not. The recruiter asked where else I had offers but never responded regarding my application status with Gap. Received an automated rejection email two weeks later after I had already accepted a job I wanted more elsewhere. Really annoying selective responses from the recruiter who seemed professional and friendly at first, but then exhibited typical lame ghosting tendencies shortly thereafter. Very unimpressed with the communication etiquette and apparent disorganization on the part of Gap recruiting.
