Received an email to set up a 30-min phone interview which was straight forward. As soon as I started the interview I was told this was going to be about 15 mins with a really brief overview of the position, a few questions, and any questions I had. The questions asked were pretty straight forward interview questions, but overall the interview felt very rushed. After 15 mins it was my time to ask questions and felt like the interviewer had other things to do and was rushing through it. I asked a few questions but could tell they were annoyed I was going over their ‘15 mins’. I was asked at the end if I was available for another interview this week (phone interview was on a Wednesday) as they’re looking to hire quickly. Was told if I have any other questions to email them. I met or exceeded what they were looking for so I took this as a good sign. I even emailed them with some follow up questions I was genuinely wanting to know the answer for but did not receive any response. After a second follow up email I swiftly received a response saying other candidates were a better fit. Overall a weird interview that felt very disorganized, probably as a result of trying to rush hire the position.
