I took a tour of the university. I spoke to the Graduate Advisor and two potential research advisors. I had lunch in the cafeteria. The interview was optional. So, it was as much about seeing if the Mason community was a good fit for me, as it was about obtaining the position.

I interviewed in person at the university and had to bring in my laptop to demonstrate how to use the three different program for the course that I applied for. Also, explain experiences and projects I did in the past.
