I was contacted by the recruiter and then hiring manager for a 30 minute quick interview before the second Phase of Interviews. The next day the hiring manager spoke well and then she said we will schedule an elaborate 4-5hr interview. In 2 days I get a schedule for the 5 hour interview with the team. I had a very good experience speaking to everyone and they all seemed to like me and my highly appropriate experience and soon after it was Christmas break. I emailed after the holidays and didn't receive any feedback or reply yet. I feel it would be great if they replied back even if its was not a favorable outcome and explained why they didn't choose me. P.S. I feel that they were backing on offering the position as I need a visa sponsorship.

HR scheduled zoom call for not 1 but 2 people, which is the hiring manager and his manager. Then, I was offered on-site interview. First, I gave a scientific talk. Then, I met with half the people in pairs back-to-back. The lunch was actually a panel where more than 6 people questioned me. Then, I met the other half of the people. It took a total of 8 hours.
