After I was aware of the open position, I contacted the Director and it was a back and forth conversation for a month or two because they never out right said no to my interest in the position. Persistence is something that impresses them, so be prepared to spend time on getting a position here. Interviewing with the Director is the first step but the final decision rests with the Founder. In total, I had 4 interviews meeting separately with the Director, Founder, one of the other Programme Managers, and again with the Founder for salary negotiations.
