I interviewed for a part-time HR consultant position. They wanted to pay $22/hour. I went through three, YES THREE, rounds of impersonal virtual interviews. That is getting off on the wrong foot, but I needed a job, so I did it. Then I received a generic email saying that they went another direction. This is why the cost-cutting approach doesn’t work! 3 virtual interviews? Their recruiter can't bother to get on the phone? then they can't even provide feedback.
