This was a long time ago, but I directly reached out to a cofounder as an entry level candidate. He was responsive and rerouted me to another cofounder to set up an interview. Even though the interview didn't end up working out for me, I was pleased with the human touch and candidate experience. The cofounder actually reviewed my resume, projects, and gave positive feedback, which is a really kind gesture in today's job market. From this experience alone, I have the impression that the company, especially the people behind it, are competent and very respectful.
