Call plus on site with 3 senior staff. Covered all core bases of the role from a local and US standpoint. With hindsight it was clear they had an internal candidate and the external search , whilst part of the policy and was an open opportunity, they preferred to stick with the internal candidate. Took weeks so not really classy.
