The interview started late. They sat a group of us in the back room. My interviewer Linda seemed nervous and unprepared. Asked us basic questions about what to do if a customer came in with a product that was out of stock. Basic retail questions After ten minutes of that. They made us put away fitting room clothes and tidied up the HOME department. Absolutely unprofessional and unethical. That practices had nothing to do with anything other than getting free labor for half an hour. Never in my days of retail have I experienced that. I know I’m over qualified compared to the other applicants (older and more experience in retail also Canadian) I had a feeling I wouldn’t get the job considering everyone else was still or right out of high school and or just arrived to Canada .. I think the whole process was slow and unprofessional. This has been a whole month waiting and I just got the email saying they are moving on without my application Brentwood mall location
