The process started with the recruiter reaching out and setting up a phone screen which went well. Met with the hiring manager next and it went very well. Next was with an interview panel which included the CIO. After these interviews, the feedback I got was positive but never heard back, even to say that they went with another candidate, which is not professional in my opinion. This whole process took several months (it was months between the 3 sets of interviews). I get a feeling that I was their backup option in case their preferred candidate fell through. Again, this is unprofessional in my opinion.
