Apply online through the company website only conduct a phone interview with a talent recruiter then a traditional face to face with the hiring manager which included a tour of the facility and day to day work expectations and a qualification and knowledge quiz of the discipline that you are being considered for then the hiring manager makes a salary recommendations to the talent recruiter who then extends an offer of employment if you are selected

Contacted by a recruiter after I applied for a position with Halliburton on Linkedin. The role, Electrical Technician, seemed like a good fit but did require some oil & gas experience that I do not I have presently. I completed a series of several phone screen interviews and a personality survey. I thought I did well and was decent for the job but did not get an offer. I will try again for positions as they come available. It was a positive interview process but was hoping to get an offer.
