There was a short, informal phone interview just to make sure I was interested in working, and to set up the in-person interview. It’s a family business so most of the business partners more or less held a casual conversation about the work as a mover and their reputation, expectations and so forth. They made it clear training would be involved in the job - they weren’t gonna throw me to the wolves. It was an opportunity to ask questions as well. Everything went smoothly so We set a trial first day to start and then a formal start date immediately after.
