Colloquio
I was contacted by a representative asking if I was interested in a position and then sent an online assesmant to see if I would be a good fit. The next day I was emailed to set up a phone interview which I had later that day, we then set up a face to face interview. The interview was initially supposed to be 30-40 minutes with the sr recruiter and 2 supervisors but the recruiter had commuter issuses so I never met her. Both supervisors were super nice and laid back. After I left I was given a contingent offer pending a background/credit/refrence check. My face to face interview was on a Monday, background check cleared Tuesday and I signed my offer letter Wednesday

I was contacted the day after I submitted my application by one of their recruiters who wanted to set up an initial phone screening. The phone screen was easy enough; I got along well with the recruiter, and we scheduled an in-person interview. On the day of my in-person interview, I met with an HR rep who gave me a tour of the building and he pointed out all of the perks of working at LendingClub. After the tour, he and I had a small [informal] interview while we waited for my first interviewer. I met with three supervisors that day, separately. I heard back from the recruiter the following day; she told me that I impressed all of the interviewers, and they would like to offer me a contingent job offer pending the results of a credit check and background check. Mind you, in all of my interviews (as well as the phone screen), I mentioned that about 4 years ago I filed for bankruptcy. This wasn't an issue during any of the interviews or phone screen. Yesterday, I received a voicemail from the recruiter, after about 2 weeks of waiting, letting me know that I am no longer being considered for the position because of my bankruptcy. I am just baffled as to why they would move forward so long with an applicant (knowing that the applicant had a bankruptcy) if a bankruptcy would result in the contingent job offer being revoked.

Is there anything on your credit or background check that would raise any red flags?
it was actually a pretty fast process. the interview process started off with a first round of interview which was over the phone and there was a second round in person.
