I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 weeks. I interviewed at LendingClub (San Francisco, CA) in October 2015. Interview - Phone screen with recruiter. - Online programming test. - Onsite interview within a week of completing programming test - At the on-site interview I met with 2 managers, 2 engineers and 1 Development VP. 4 of the interviewers were very friendly and the questions were relatively straightforward. The 4 interviews were evaluating what I knew and what I could do. The 5th interviewer came in with an air of superiority and was downright rude when I couldn't decipher his questions. Vague questions with biting remarks when I tried to respond based on my experience. Using technical jargon and it was evident that he did not want me. Highly unprofessional interviewer. And looking at other reviews in Glassdoor, I am not the first person to encounter this interviewer Fortunately I did not get the job. Would not have wanted to work with him after such a bad treatment. I have dissuaded a couple of my friends from interviewing at this place.

Interview process is smooth and well organized starting from recruiter screen to virtual onsite rounds. Main focus was on problem solving and the engineers were very helpful and humble . Overall , a very nice interview experience.
