Informal chat with manager - made to feel very comfortable and welcome. Was then taken round to meet the they memebers of staff and chefs. Nothing bad to say about experience.

They took me into a room and asked me questions suitable but simple. I felt comfortable and after about ten minutes of a nice conversation they offered me the job.

After submitting my CV online I was called in for an interview which I thought went well. Then I was told they’d call me at the weekend to organise a trial shift. I never got a phone call, and instead got an email a week later saying my application had been unsuccessful. Confused, I called them and spoke to the manager about this. He said he’d get the woman who interviewed me to call back to explain the situation, but once again I never got a call. This process angered me greatly, you don’t explicitly tell an applicant they’ll be getting a trial shift, only to not contact them at all. If this is how they treat their applicants, then Harvester is not a company I’d ever want to work for.
